Description:
Tiny souvenir booklet of concertina fold-out views of Adelaide. Embossed hard cover. 12 full page views of Adelaide and suburbs. Some of these views are extremely damaged and have been digitally repaired for display.

Each view carries a caption, but the captions for some views are now somewhat archaic, in particular the reference to the Lunatic Asylum.

The publisher's label records that these views are from photographic negatives by Captain Samuel White Sweet, Landscape Photographer, Adelaide. The MAPCO collection includes two original Sweet cabinet photographs of views shown here, being 'Port Adelaide' and 'Glenelg'.
